Jack Grealiskh could leave Manchester City this summer after he had fallen the pecking order under Pep Guardiola, but his wage could be a problem for every buyer
Manchester City is open to offers for Jack Grealishe while he falls under Pep Guardiola – but his megalones can be a problem for a potential buyer.
He was not even mentioned in the team for the victory over Fulham on the last day, who also made doubts about the future of Grealish. He remains the most expensive player in the city ever after his move from Aston Villa in 2021, but with changes that are expected this summer, he could become a peripheral figure even more.
Guardiola has no problem with the 29-year-old, The Daily Star reports, but after conversations between the couple it has become clear that a new start would suit both parties somewhere else.
The hierarchy of City will gladly earn a considerable part of the £ 100 million that it costs Grealish in the first place. They will almost certainly have to accept a loss on that figure and a loan movement is not excluded – whereby the city must punch a considerable amount of its wages.
Grealisk would like to secure a movement where he can play regularly, which will help his offer to make Thomas Tuchel's England team for the World Cup of next summer. He has currently fallen out of sight with the three lions after his shape was immersed.
The former Villa man was part of the Treble-winning campaign with the 2022/23 season and turned out to be his most effective campaign. He scored five times that year, but was enormously influential in the last third part. This summer he only found the back of the net in the competition once.
Guardiola is expected to make a number of important signing sessions this summer while he has responded to a first trophy season in Manchester since his debut campaign. New faces would continue to limit the minutes of Grealisk, although leading lights such as Kevin De Bruyne have continued.
Although the Catalan has defended his use of Grealisk and continued that there was no problem with the Englishman. He said: “Don't ask me about Jack. Who said I'm not happy with Jack? Rico [Lewis] was not selected, [James] McATEE was exceptional against Aston Villa and Wolves – why not ask me about McATee?
“It is nothing personal with Jack. I am the person who fought for him to come here and the person who fought for him to stay here and the following season this season. I am the one who said,” I want Jack Grealish. “
