The Merseyside police say that a man was held after a car collided with 'a number of pedestrians' during the Premier League trophy parade of Liverpool.
A police statement released on Monday evening was: “We are currently dealing with reports of a traffic collision in the Liverpool city center.
“We were contacted today at 6 pm, Mon 26 May, after reports a car had collided with a number of pedestrians on Water Street.
“The car stopped on stage and held a man.”
