UFC commentator Joe Rogan had one of the strangest interviews of his career during the Ultimate Fighter 5 final.

Maynard and Rob Emerson fought on the TUF 5 final undercard in a long -awaited lightweight fight between two of the best fighters in the show. The two light weights fought for a shot in the UFC after an eventful end of TUF 5, with a stars -lined cast of top names such as Nate Diaz and Manny Gamburyan.

Maynard and Emerson did not disappoint their fight as long as it lasted, but the end left much more to be desired for the wrong reasons.

It was one -way traffic for Maynard in the opening round, because he immediately seemed to find his timing on the feet and Emerson confused with his various attacks. In round 2, Maynard put his foot on the gas and tried a large Takedown, before he hit Emerson to the Canvas and beat him cold.

But the only problem was: Maynard was also eliminated, while he seemed to land on his head while he and Emerson landed on the canvas. Both hunters were unconscious for a whole minute before they woke up from the knockout.

Maynard visibly looked confused after he was convinced that he had won the knockout victory over Emerson, before ringomroer Bruce Buffer shared the official result as a 'no competition' because both fighters were eliminated at the same time. Rogan immediately went to an angry Maynard for an interview and quickly escalated.

Maynard was convinced that he did not become unconscious during the last order of the fight and assured Rogan that he was just because of fatigue. But Rogan did not admit in Maynard outgoing cold because of the freak accident, and the two parties shared a fiery interview after the fight.
