The last weekend of various major European competitions came to an end during the weekend, with teams that swing to titles, European places and to prevent relegation. But which players stood out and could their teams help achieve their goals?
Below is our newest team of the week, drawn from the world's best competitions. As always, we selected the side using the internal player assessment system of FlashScore.
Team of the weekly flash score
Goalkeeper
Dominik Greif (Mallorca) – 8.3
Mallorca ended their season with a hard scoreless draw against Rayo Vallecano, largely thanks to the efforts of goalkeeper Dominik Greif.
The Slovakse saved all eight of the shots with which he was confronted and prevented 1.68 expected goals to terminate his 24/25 campaign on a personal high – it was the highest assessment he has received in our system since February of last year.
Defense
Davinson Sanchez (Galatasaray) – 8.6
Colombian center-back Davinson Sanchez has enjoyed a different brilliant season as the best defender of Galatasaray and came last week after winning the Super Lig title, he brought an exceptional achievement in the 2-0 victory from his side at Goztepe.
Although Galatasaray played a much -rotated side, Sanchez started in the defense and led the example of the example, with the opponents remotely held with six soil and four air duels won. He then played a huge role in the late goal of Alvaro Morata that sealed the victory.
Derrick Williams (Atlanta United) – 9.0
The Irish veteran Derrick Williams was the Star Man in Atlanta United's surprise 4-2 victory at home on the second FC Cincinnati placed on Sunday, making a big impact on both ends.
He opened the score in the 15th minute when he went into a free kick and made 10 defensive clearance in the course of the game.
Kieran Tierney (Arsenal) – 8.8
Left back Kieran Tierney will leave Arsenal this summer after having spent seven years in the club, and starting in his last match against Southampton, he said goodbye to style.
The Scot, which has often found surplus for requirements, took the opener in the 2-1 victory of the Gunners and did a rock-solid performance, which showed why he was the ultimate professional.
Midfield
Pape Gueye (Villarreal) – 8.8
Villarreal did not have too much to play for the last day of the season and already confirmed their place in the Champions League next season. However, they did not show a sign to get their foot off the gas, to a 4-2 win over Sevilla, and Pape Gueye was the star of the show.
The central midfielder hit home in the first half in the first half, before he later scored the fourth goal on his side with a finish in the penalty area. A good end to a good season for the Spanish club.
Isco (real betis) – 8.8
The 33-year-old Isco was called to the Spain team for the first time in six years this week, and after the season he enjoyed it was completely earned.
The magical playmaker led the show in the 1-1 draw of Real Betis with Valencia on the weekend, setting up Antony for their only purpose of the game, and with five important passes.

Nicolo Fagioli (Fiorentina) – 8.7
With a nail biting 3-2 victory over Udinese in their last match, Fiorentina has again given the qualification for the conference competition, and they will largely have thanked Nicolo Fagioli.
When his team needed him, the Italian scored the first goal on his side and an instrumental in midfield with seven important steps and two big opportunities was created.
Daniel Maldini (Atalanta), 9.7
With third place and the Champions League football already secured, Atalanta ended the season with a 3-2 loss at home at Parma. Daniel Maldini, however, ensured that it was not all bad for himself.
The Italian scored both goals of his party, including a stunning second to score Atalanta two goals. However, they had their leadership slipped while Parma mounted a comeback to claim the victory.
Attack
Lorenzo Venturino (Genoa) – 9.1
With nothing to play in their last game, 18-year-old Lorenzo Venturino made his full debut for the club and what an impression he made.
The exciting midfielder scored a brace in the first half – his first goals for the club – when they ended the unbeaten run of 12 games of Bologna at home with a 3-1 win. A highly appreciated young talent, he certainly showed exactly what he is about.
Alexander Sorloth (Atletico Madrid) – 10.0
Only a few weeks after the scoring of the fastest Laliga-Hattrick ever, Alexander Sorloth ended his season with another hat trick and a perfect 10 rating, while in the second half of the bank to help Atletico Madrid help beat Girona 4-0.
It has been an underwhelming season for Atletico, but Sorloth – who has often called the Bank's appearance – has impressed 20 league goals, making him the top scorer of the club and the fourth top scorer in Laliga.
Yan Diomande (Leganes) – 10.0
Unfortunately for Leganes they went to the last game of the season that was already relegated from Laliga, so the moral would be low. However, they at least ended their campaign on a positive note, with a thumping 3-0 victory over soil-of-the-Table Valladolid.
Yan Diomande was the star of the show, scored a goal and offered an assist for his team before he was replaced just after the hour by a perfect 10 -rating. Only 18 years old, the young talent can be popular this summer.
