But wrote on Instagram, he insisted: “I want to apologize with all my heart for what happened yesterday. I know I have responded badly and I take responsibility for it. I went there with the only intention to send a positive signal to be close to the boys at a difficult moment after the game.
“Unfortunately I was verbally provoked by a boy and I was wrongly lost my patience. It is a mistake that weighs on me, especially since I know that I have to be an example for the young person. I want to clarify, however, that the facts are far from his reconstructed and that of my part, apart from a verbal argument, there was no physical aggressive behavior.”
Zaniolo also said: “I know that I have disappointed someone with this episode, but I hope you can understand that it was not my intention to respect someone. I am apologizing. As a man, like an athlete and like a person who loves this environment, I just want to rebuild and look with humility.”
