Barcelona's Teenage Sensation Lamine Yamal has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the Spanish champions until 2031, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old winger, whose previous deal would expire in 2026, enjoyed an excellent season when Barca Laliga and the Copa del Rey won.
He registered 18 goals and 21 assists in all competitions, with only Raphinha (21) that improved the latter figure in the Barca team.
Yamal also produced two enchanting displays in the semi-final of the Champions League, although Hansi Flick's side lost 7-6 to aggregate to inter.
It is remarkable that Yamal led the hit lists in Laliga for Assists (13), shots from outside the area (67), created great opportunities (28), shots after a Carry (56), opportunities created after a Carry (35), through balls (33) and Dribbels (161) in 2024) in 2024-25.
Reports suggest that the Spain International becomes the best -paid player of Barcelona Squad if he meets certain performance -related clauses in the deal.

After he has shown such an entertaining football this season, Yamal is considered a leading competition for this year's balloon.
Barca President Joan Laporta had previously expressed the confidence that Yamal Pen would put on paper, also revealed renewal interviews with both Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong, who enter into the last 12 months of his deal.
“The new Raphinha deal will happen. [Sporting director] Deco has a strong bond with Rapha. The player feels very involved in the project, “said Laporta.” We will reach an agreement because we want him to stay and he wants to stay.
'Frenkie de Jong New Deal? His situation is urgent. We don't want a player who only has an annual contract.
“He knows, and we talked about it. He is very motivated. We really love the Dutch School of Play. We dominate the game with him.”
