Mohamed Salah believes he could play until he is 40 years old, after he had enjoyed his most productive campaign when Liverpool won the Premier League title.
Salah was named Prime Minister League player of the season and won the Golden Boot and Playmaker Awards of the competition for 2024-25, because Arne Slot's first campaign in Anfield ended in Glory.
The Egyptian became the first player to win all three prizes in the same campaign, and the Record Bond for most combined goals and assists in a Premier League season.
With 29 goals and 18 assists, he corresponded to the 47 targeted involvement of Andy Cole in 1993-94 and Alan Shearer the following season.
Both players needed 42 games to hit that count, with Salah taking the record for a 38-game Premier League campaign.
Salah, who will be 33 next month, was expected to leave Liverpool for the Saudi Pro League at the end of the campaign to donate a new two -year contract in April.
And he believes that he could have no fewer than seven or eight seasons in him and told about sports: “I will stop playing if I have that feeling.
“If you ask me for my opinion, I think I can play until the age of 39 or 40, but if I felt that I wanted to stop, I would stop. I have achieved many things.
“My contract was in Liverpool and I would have gone to Saudi, but we completed the deal with Liverpool.”
Salah also fixed the record for most goals scored by a player of 30 years or older in a single Premier League season, with Didier Drogba's Trek for Chelsea in 2009-10.
He did not arise in his best goal campaign in the competition, after he had scored 32 times in 2017-18, although his 18 assists were five more than his previous High of 13 in 2021-22.
