Former inter -manager Jose Mourinho said he would like the Italian side to win the Champions League.
Inter is confronted with PSG in the final on 31 May in the Allianz Arena in Munich, with this their last chance of silverware after missing the Serie A title to Napoli at a point.
It will also be the very first competitive meeting between the parties.
Mourinho was the last inter -manager who led the team to European glory and won the competition in 2010 and Bayern Munich defeated in the showpiece.
The Portuguese manager won the Treble with the Italian giants that season and said jokes that he is happy that the performance cannot be repeated this time, but he would still like to see them win the final.
“I'm going to be very naughty, but very honest,” Mourinho told Sky Sports. 'I was afraid she [Inter] Could win the Treble, because I didn't want them to win the Treble. The treble in mine! “

'But now that they lost the championship [Serie A] and the Italian cup [Coppa Italia]I would like it if they win the Champions League. “
This will be Inter's Seventh European Cup/Champions League Final Appeal and win the trophy three times (1964, 1965 and 2010). Their last final, however, ended in a 1-0 defeat against Manchester City in 2023.
Mourinho also said that he would be happy to see Luis Enrique win for the brilliant work he did with PSG this season.
Luis Enrique wants to become the sixth manager, of whom there is a Mourinho, to win the competition with two different clubs after lifting the trophy with Barcelona in 2015.
Mourinho added: “But of course Luis Enrique is great work in Paris. He has transformed the team. He lost, let's say their 'number one player', but they rebuild them [the team] In a fantastic way, so if Luis wins, I am also happy for him. “
