On UFC 316, Sean O'Malley will recapture the Bantamweight title in Newark, New Jersey.
Despite his status as a former champion at 135 pounds, many believe that O'Malley is confronted with a tough battle in his rematch with Merab Dvalishvili.
The defending champion claimed the title on UFC 306 last September, in which Dvalishvili admitted that it is difficult to be motivated about an opponent he has already defeated.
With O'Malley who gets a second chance on 'The Machine', after they have not fought since their first meeting, there is a lot at stake for 'Suga' with regard to his future in the Bantamweight Division.
Chael Sonen believes that a defeat would bring one of the greatest stars of the UFC to a very difficult position in which different elite hunters have fallen in the past.

Chael Sonen believes that Sean O'Malley may be forced in featherweight movement after UFC 316
In a recent interview with the SchMO, Chael Sonen stated that he believes that there is a good chance that the UFC 316 main event will determine whether Sean O'Malley will remain at Bantamweight.
Apart from Merab Dvalishvili, O'Malley's some other loss came to Marlon 'Chito' Vera on UFC 252, which he cruelly on dominant fashion in his only title defense.
If 'Suga' the belt cannot reclaim on 7 June, it can be frozen from the title photo as 'The Machine' on top.

Sonnen referred to two former UFC champions who were in similar positions where they could not deduce the champion, despite the fact that they were elite competitors in their weight classes.
'The Bad Guy' believes that the outcome of this rematch can cause O'Malley to be forced to enter a division if he cannot get better from DvalishHvili the second time.
“Sean O'Malley will win this fight or may never fight 135 again. [Silva] problem.
“Rich was unable to beat each other except Anderson. Max. [Holloway] ended there with [Alexander] Volkanovski. Sometimes this happens and this is the last shot of Sean on Merab. They do not go to part three and if he cannot bypass Merab, he must go until 145 to 145. “
Merab Dvalishvili is willing to stop in the Rematch with Sean O'Malley
Merab Dvalishvili spoke in a recent interview with Kevin Iole about what he expects from this Rematch.
'The Machine' is preparing for a better Sean O'Malley on UFC 316 and says he is willing to strike with 'Suga' if his grab game is not that effective on this occasion.
“I think of course it will be different, because Sean will make some adjustments. He can stop my Takedowns and now I am planning, if he stops my Takedown, I am planning to strike him and challenge my striking with another top opponent. I am ready for [the] Worst fight and I am ready for a very strong Sean O'Malley. “
After successful in the final round of their first meeting, the O'Malley team will hope that they can be successful in the striking trade fairs earlier at the moment.
