OFFICIAL: Ex-Bayern star Sandro Wagner signs in as new head coach of Augsburg

The successor to the position of the head coach has been decided: FCA has signed Sandro Wagner and has agreed to a three-year contract with the 37-year-old. The contract runs until June 30, 2028 and was signed today, Wednesday.

During his professional career, Sandro Wagner made more than 300 competitive performances, including for the German national team, FC Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim and Hertha BSC. A decisive characteristic of the triple German champion and the double DFB Cup winner career was his collaboration with top coaches such as Julian Nagelsmann, Ottmar Hitzfeld, Niko Kovac and Jupp Heynckes.
