The camp of Marcus Rashford has reportedly met Barcelona as the forward eyes a move by Manchester United in the summer.
The 27-year-old, who came to Aston Villa in January, will permanently end his association with his boy's club and will be available for £ 40 million.
The agent of Rashford and brother Dwaine Maynard met Deco, the sports director of Barcelona, in a hotel in the Catalan city on Wednesday, according to the Spanish outlet sport.
United Pay Rashford £ 315,000 a week and he is under contract with Old Trafford until 2028.
But the club would like to move him further after he fell with Ruben Amorim.
“I couldn't show Marcus how you should play football and train as I see,” said the Portuguese boss in February.

He is now one of the four attacking goals that are considered by bosses in the Nou -camp.
Liverpool -wing player Luis Diaz is considered their most important target, but is seen as a very expensive option.
Deco admitted last week that the Spanish giants are interested in the Premier League pair.

Barcelona has also tied Hansi with a new contract until 2027 after a successful season so that they claimed the Liga and Copa del Rey titles.

Amorim is desperate to strengthen his attacking options after United only scored 44 competition goals in 2024/25 – their lowest in the Premier League era.
