British police given more time to question suspect over Liverpool parade attack

The police have been given more time to question a 53-year-old man who was suspected of injuring nearly 80 people during a car-ramming attack during the Liverpool title celebrations on Monday.

The Merseyside police released an update on Wednesday in which they also revised the number of injuries in the attack to 79, after identifying 14 “more people who were injured.”

Seven people stay in a stable state in the hospital.

The armed forces said that the man who comes from the West derby area of ​​the city can be questioned until Thursday after he was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous row -violations and driving while unsuitable by drugs.
