Joe Cole points blame at Chelsea star Gusto for Real Betis’ opener in UECL final

Chelsea was behind only nine minutes in the Europa League final on Wednesday and former Blues -star Joe Cole believes that one star was largely the fault.

Gusto lost the ball in midfield and that allowed Isco to play Abde Ezzalzouli with the right side of position.

Ezzalzouli made no mistake with a deadly finish about the goal and Chelsea fans quickly went to social media to point their finger at Gusto.

Cole agreed and said on TNT sports: 'We said we don't do anything stupid in the structure.

'Chelsea when they build with a three and Gusto goes into that midfield position.

'It is a fantastic game of betis, but something that Pellegrini would have noticed.

'Chelsea lost the ball, it was a turnover and it fell to Isco and he looks up and knows that the space where Gusto was would be left. It is a nice ball. It is a great finish. '
