Robert Lewandowski continued to score Goals scoring for Barcelona in their triple winning season 2024/25.
Despite the suffering of an injury in the last weeks of the campaign – which made him lose the Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid in the Golden Boot Race – the Poland International was spectacular for Hansi Flick.
The strong relationship of the duo from Bayern Munich was announced by the boss in 2024/25, while he remained confident about the 36-year-old who led his attack.
Flanked by the excellent Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, Lewandowski showed little signs of delay and his deeper numbers from the season show how brilliant he was for the goal.
27 La Liga goals from 34 games is his highest competition figure in the three seasons he spent in Barcelona since he dawned in 2022/23.
A large season of 42 is also its highest in Catalonia, including 11 scored on route to the defeat of Barcelona in the semi -final of the UEFA Champions League.
However, a glance at the statistics shows how powerful he is, with a competition goal scored for every 93.5 minutes – effectively a goal per match.
That is higher than any other Barcelona player in 2024/25 with Ferran Torres played second at one goal per 101 minutes.
Lewandowski has already agreed a contract extension with the option for another 12 months on the table until the end of 2025/26.
While he turns 37 in August, Barcelona wants to carefully manage his game tax, and the incoming summer vacation will do exactly that.
Lewandowski has withdrawn the Poland team for their matches in June due to exhaustion of its domestic campaign.
“Due to the circumstances and intensity of the club season, the coach and I have jointly decided that I will not participate in the training camp of the Polish national team in June.”
That call has drawn criticism, with one of the two games of Poland as an important world cup qualification 2026 against Finland, but Barcelona can now effectively see 7-8 weeks free for the striker.
