Real Madrid hopes to announce a deal for Benfica's Alvaro Carreras instead of later, but once they get through the door left, their attention shifts to the center of the field. One of the easiest deals to be done could be for Stuttgart -midfielder Angelo Stiller.
In the past year, Real Madrid is linked to a number of names to succeed Toni Kroos, with Luka Modric now also this summer. They include names such as Enzo Fernandez, Rodri Hernandez, Martin Zubimendi and Alexis Mac Allister, but recently it has been claimed that they will not spend a big midfielder this summer.
Another and much cheaper name on their shortlist is quieter. Marca says that the 24-year-old former Bayern Munich academy talent could be available for around € 40-50 million, referring to local media. Apparently Los Blancos has already reached a rough agreement on personal conditions, although they still have to decide whether they should pull the trigger.
If there is one thing that works to his advantage, it is that Kroos apparently recommended to have Los Blancos. He is part of the agency that Kroos has an interest, but rather impressed by the Champions League in the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this season.
The Madrid -based daily continues that Stiller himself 'loves a move to Real Madrid' and Los Blancos has announced that he likes to be the idea. He also explained to Stuttgart that his preference is a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu. In particular, Stiller was recently seen with his teammates who celebrated their German cup victory, where Deniz Undav suggested that he was on his way to the Spanish capital. Real Madrid is set to assess the situation during HTE Club World Cup, but wants to follow their options for the time being.
