Officer is still a big talk point regarding the UFC in 2025.
Judging will always be a controversial aspect of combat sports, but the officials in the cage have also received a lot of criticism.
Dana White even jokes about the UFC officer during a recent episode of 'Lookin' For Fight ', where many believe that referees are not strict enough when it comes to hunters who make mistakes.
Oogpokes have been a regular topic of conversation, especially after the defeat of Henry Cejudo against Song Yadong.
While Michael Chandler's will have been labeled as dirty hunters in the past, an active member of the selection recently admitted to exploit the lack of enforcement of the rules.

Derrick Lewis reflects on one UFC fight where he openly false to cause a break in the fight
As the record holder of the UFC for most knockouts, Derrick Lewis is known to raise his hand after contacting his devastating force.
That does not mean that 'The Black Beast' can cut a few corners from time to time to guarantee the victory.
Lewis recently spoke in an interview with MMA Junkie, where he admitted that he deliberately cheated in the Octagon in the past and refers to a specific example.
“I know that I was nervous once when hell starts a fight. What's that guy's name? I pinched him in my notes immediately. As soon as the fight started, I intentionally kneaded him in the notes, just because I wanted to calm my nerves. Ruan Potts, who fights there.
When he looks back on Lewis's fight with Potts on UFC 184 in 2015, with 3:20 in the opening round, he clearly lands a low knee when his opponent is supported against the cage with the referee who causes a break in the action.
Lewis continued to say that some of the reason he is willing to go against the rules is because the penalties are not strictly maintained.
If he can deliberately fulfill his opponent and only receive a warning, there is not much deterrent according to the Fans's favorite.
“If I want to start striking the eyes and all that, I stick you in the eyes because you get a warning. They will not take a point as soon as you put someone in the eyes. S – everyone knows that. So I knee them in the nuts, pink them in the eyes, do some illegal.
“Then they say:” Oh not Derrick “. I'm something like that:” Oh, man. My bad ones, I don't even intend to do that “, but just know it, adjust this, just know that if I ever do that in my earlier fights, I just know, I laughed in the inside and I say I have you.”
Derrick Lewis does not intend to implement a strike that was recently made legally in his next fight
Derrick Lewis goes back to the Octagon for his first fight from 2025 to 12 July, where he is confronted with promising heavyweight talent Tallison Teixeira.
Since Lewis last moisture, the controversial 12-6 elbow has now been made legally, together with knees as a grounded opponent.
Given the height of Teixeira, 'The Black Beast' did not work to add these extra weapons to his arsenal.
“This guy is 6'7 tall, you think I will do 6-9 elbows for this m –——. S-, I try to throw everything up.”
Lewis does have a track record for following his opponents to the ground where he can rain enormous power, but he sees that not helping Teixeira.
“Yes, I come to the floor, I first have to crawl to his face … I will take it out with what I can throw.”
