UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones could soon be dealing with another version of the boss, according to one of his former rivals.
Jones, the heavyweight Kingpin and a leading competition in the goat debate, remain on the sidelines without a date for a potential UFC return on the calendar.
That is despite the presence of an interim title holder in Tom Aspinall, who has joined 'Bones' in the last 18 months with holding heavyweight gold.
Waiting for the couple to finally unite the belts has steadily built up frustration in the fan base, but Jones continues to reject the Aspinall fight.
For his part, Dana White insists that Jones vs Aspinall will happen. But one legend of the promotion says that the relaxed attitude of the UFC CEO will not hold long.

Chael Sonnen says that the trolls of Jon Jones could bring out 'Angry Dana White'
During a recent episode of his Good Guy/Bad Guy show next to Daniel Cormier on the YouTube channel of ESPN MMA, Chael Sonnen gave his last review of the heavyweight title photo.
'The American Gangster' remembered that his experience aroused anger in White and Jones warned that he would not do far from the same as his trolls and clear avoidance of Aspinall.
“Dana White has a private date and location. Private Dana White will work on bringing the fight up to that date and location,” said Sonnen.
“As we get closer to that date and location, if Dana fails to get that fight closer, he starts to get angry. That is one piece that these boys have not yet had to deal with; they have not had to deal with an angry Dana White.
“It's not the same man, and it's not a man you want to say no to. I leave it at that.”
Jon Jones encourages more to sign the petition in which the UFC is called to strip him
It is sufficient to say that Jones is not worried.
The resident of Rochester continues to take away his company from the Octagon and most recently organizes a record-breaking seminar in Phuket, Thailand-where Jones traveled for his now coolness reality show with Nate Diaz.
In a message on social media, Jones sarcastically credited Aspinall for driving more British fans with the 'free promo', and he continued with the petition to call him to be stripped of his UFC title.
“I just packed the biggest seminar in Phuket's history. Half of the crowd flew out of the UK – how wild is that?
“But seriously, I am more than grateful for this brand new VK supporters. You showed up with so much love and energy, and I felt everything. Let's keep this momentum going – make sure I have to sign that petition today, we push 200k! How exciting,” concluded Jones.
I have just packed the biggest seminar in the history of Phuket. 🇬🇧💥 Solid shoutout to my husband Tom for all free promo … couldn't have done it without you 😎
But seriously, I am more than grateful for this brand new UK …
