Beckham shows true colours with savage reply to Arsenal fan son Romeo

DAVID BECKHAM had a cruel response to son Romeo ahead of Arsenal's clash with Manchester United.

Red Devils icon David Beckham is no stranger to rivalry with Arsenal on the pitch. He was a regular star in the game until he left for Real Madrid in 2003.

However, the 49-year-old now has to deal with the rivalry at home, with his second eldest child Romeo a supporter of the Gunners.

And as United headed to the Emirates for their first meeting of the season, Romeo took to Instagram before the match to fan the flames.

He shared a selfie with the caption: “Big game in the old Beckham household today @davidbeckham. COYG.”

But Inter Miami owner Beckham snr took no prisoners with a cheeky response.

Quoting Romeo's story on Instagram, he said: “A big game for you.

“Just another game for us.”

Beckham remembers how Romeo wanted to watch a match one weekend, while Arsenal happened to be there.

He was then treated well by then Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger, who took him into the dressing room to meet the players and presented him with a signed shirt.

And from then on, Beckham has failed to bring his son back to supporting his own old club.

He told Rio Ferdinand Presents: “It was done!

“I've been trying to change his mind ever since, but it's impossible.”

Tonight's match begins an incredible 13-match run for Arsenal, which will see them cover just 250 miles across all competitions.

A win for Mikel Arteta's side could move them within six points of Liverpool if the league leaders lose to Newcastle.

Meanwhile, a win for Ruben Amorim's side will take them within three points of Arsenal.
