Marmoush’s stunner past Bournemouth wins Premier League award

The remarkable strike of Omar Marmoush against Bournemouth is mentioned as the goal of the Premier League of the season.

The wonderful effort of the Manchester City Forward in the Etihad Stadium on May 20, the Prize of 2024-25 and the competition of 2024-25 announced the competition on Saturday.

Marmoush received a simple pass from Mateo Kovacic before burst forward and unleashed a bad right -hand ride to the top left corner, who kissed the post of the goal of Kepa Arrizabalaga before he entered.

The Egypt International defeated the competition of Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, Jhon Duran, Harry Wilson, Alexander Isak, David Brooks, Kaoru Mitoma, Carlos Baleba and Jens Cajuste.

Thanks to that stunning finish, Marmoush scored his seventh Premier League goal, all of them entering the Etihad.

His run at home marks the most joint-should-goals that a Man City player has scored in a campaign, with 100% of their home, together with Samir Nasri in 2013-14.

Frankfurt's former Eintracht attacker scored three of his seven league goals for Pep Guardiola from outside the box and offered sufficient competition and support for colleague striker Erling Haaland.

His opener against Bournemouth also ended the run of Man City of 54 shots without a goal in all competitions, because Kevin De Bruyne's strike against Wolves earlier in May.

However, Marmoush's piledriver did not take away a special occasion, because Man City knew farewell to De Bruyne with a 3-1 victory that sent them on their way to Champions League qualification.

De Bruyne also created two chances in the game and brought his total total in the Premier League to 846. Since OPTA has this metriek, record (2003-04) has not made any player (Cesc Fabegas also 846).
