Chelsea is completing the signing of £ 30 million by Liam Delap, but the blues also chase a left wing and there can be further in attack
Chelsea will explore the signing of a second striker – despite the fact that it has already drawn a major early coup by agreeing with £ 30 million Liam Delap. The winners of the UEFA Conference League continue to follow the forward market on opportunities, although they are now giving priority to the conquest of a left fortress.
The blues are expected to have conversations with Eintracht Frankfurt Center-Forward Hugo Ekitike's agent Karl Mwalako Buchmann in the course of the following week.
Chelsea are also long-term admirers of Arsenal target white Benjamin Sesko and have kept Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres with Joao Felix and Christopher Nunku, expected both to leave for West London this summer.
There is also an optimism that Delap could still be for Chelsea at the Club World Cup about the U21 European championships with England. The 22-year-old is ready to undergo his medical on Monday after the interest of Manchester United, Newcastle, Everton and Nottingham Forest, among others, and there would be no late Hapes, he would be technically available for the tournament of this summer in the United States because Chelsea is not obliged to release him for the U21's rules. Nicolas Jackson remains a solid part of Enzo Maresca's plans, but the Senegal International now has a fight to remain the first choice of the club next season.
Various vooragers from Europe have exploratory checks on the availability of Jackson through his representatives in recent months, but he is currently expected to remain a new two -year contract in September in September.
Maresca has previously stated that he also believes that Jackson played from the left flank if necessary, but Chelsea would like to continue building a competitive team after securing Champions League qualification. Ekitike is seen as an interesting prospect with a huge potential of both Chelsea and Liverpool, but Eintracht Frankfurt currently recommends a bumper package worth a maximum of £ 84 million (€ 100 million) and it is currently unlikely that every club will reach that figure.
The Joao Pedro from Brighton is not considered a name of serious interest at this stage, even though it is linked to a move to Stamford Bridge, while Ipswich shows the loan interest in Marc Guiu, which is rated very internally at Chelsea. In the meantime, the blues are currently negotiating with Jadon Sancho because they were open to activating his £ 25 million buy-out clause after his loan spell from Manchester United. Chelsea should pay a fine clause of £ 5 million to send him back to Old Trafford, but Sancho would probably be obliged to make payments if he has to seal a permanent switch to Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea hierarchy plans to recruit a left wing, regardless of the situation of Sancho, while Mykhailo Mudryk remains suspended. Jamie Bynoe Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund is one of the key names of interest, but Chelsea are also long-term admirers of Nico Williams of Athletic Club and have other goals on their radar who previously looked at Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho in January.
