Ruben Amorim is ready to be tough with his Manchester United Flops while haunting a flying start next season.
The Red Devils boss wants to follow a hardline pre-season approach in his search to change his “chokers” into Champions League material, with jobs-inclusive of its line.
And the Portuguese are established that a lack of fitness will not be an excuse for his team, in the aftermath of a disastrous campaign previous time-out-out-out-out of the club since the 1973-74 relegation season.
Sunsport understands that Amorim has given a list of instructions to ensure that United is in top for the new prem season, which starts during the weekend of August 16.
It is assumed that non-international players could return to the Carrington's club earlier than normal, with a suggestion that some people can train towards the end of this month.
Amorim wants fitness levels to be Sky High and demand that players hit personal records in mid -July.
And if they do not achieve those goals, they are confronted with sideliness of his United Revolution.
Baas Amorim also told his team that they should be fitter than ever because he wants them to be everywhere in their opponents “such as White on Rice” from the first day next season.
It is understood that Amorim has even questioned his players where they go on vacation while he was shaking out of his failing team and leaving nothing to chance.
United finished 15th in the Prem and also lost in the Europa League final of Tottenham – which means that there will be no European football in Old Trafford next season.
Amorim who initially did not want to become a member of Sporting in November, because he feared that in the middle season turbulence he needed a revival of results and performance, so he focuses on an intense program for the season to inform his men about the kick-off.
He also wants to take advantage of Rivals Manchester City and Chelsea with a disturbed start of the new premium season if they go deep in the renewed Club World Cup this summer, with the final on July 13.
A club source said: “Amorim needs a good pre-season. He has not been removed from the pressure he undermines.
“He would always rather have arrived in United prior to a new season instead of it in the middle of it.
“He has to do this well. He has told the players that there are no more apologies. His job is at the game – and that also applies to theirs.
“The club can no longer accept any errors.”
Amorim is well aware of the pressure structure and the research in his own position, let alone his players.
His side suffered an embarrassing 1-0 loss for the Asean All-Stars for a 3-1 win over Hong Kong during their two-game tour after the season to Asia.
Amorim closed his players after the first match as “chokers” after being booed by Far East fans.
After the second game on Friday, Amorim was asked if he had a summer message for his players – and hinted that he feared the condition of his stars during their time away from the club.
He replied: “I was a player and you can break the connection. They know that we have performed badly this season.
“The most important thing for me is the composition of the body, the weight and training – they must be ready.
“We have to use every minute in every week of the preseason. So we have to arrive in shape.
“These little things, they have all the measures. We have had a briefing about that. It is the only way to take action to get better next season.
“They know that everyone knows that the following year will be huge for everyone.
“I sent messages every week and they know next year, it is clear that we should be so much better.”
United is confronted with a large summer of transfer activity.
Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans have all been left on free transfers, while the future of Captain Bruno Fernandes is in balance.
Amorim closes a £ 62.5 million deal for Wolves Forward Matheus Cunha, while he has drawn up Pedro Goncalves of Sporting as a potential replacement for Fernandes if he has £ 100 million from Saudi-Arab side al-Hilal.
Argentinian wing player Alejandro Garnacho is not in Amorim's plans next season and is free to leave.
United starts on July 19 with their preparations with a friendship against Prem New Boys Leeds in Stockholm.
Then the Red Devils go to the US for matches against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton, before they end a punishing preseason schedule on 9 August on Italian side Fiorentina in Old Trafford.
