Uncertainty remains the potential UFC Light Heavyweight Championship Rematch Omringen between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira.
This comes three months after Ankalaev's decision on Pereira on UFC 313, who brought the Brazilian's reign to an end after three successful defenses.
Given his memorable and destructive rule over the division before he met the Dagestani, Pereira was tipped for an immediate rematch.
And that sentiment was shared by the champion, where Ankalaev quickly agreed with a rematch against Pereira for later in 2025.
But with a date still not on the calendar, the Russian loses patience.

Magomed Ankalaev wants to 'continue' after he claims that Alex Pereira is not returning
Initially, Ankalaev and Pereira seemed to agree on a timeline of the summer for their second confrontation. But the rejection by the latter of a title shot on UFC 317 on 28 June pampered uncertainty and recovered from the champion.
And after only June, Ankalaev claimed in a position on X that the Brazilian also has no plans to take action again in July or August.
With that, the light heavyweight Kingpin wants to continue to other options, because he is convinced that 'Patan' does not intend to be a comeback.

Alex Pereira's 'Hacker' previously threatened UFC pension
Talk about Pereira who suddenly retired, came to the fore after a post on social media hinted at a fight with the UFC.
But Pereira explained that a post that called the promotion for lack of respect and threatening to walk away from the sport was made by a hacker.
The will of Daniel Cormier rejected Pereira's hacked claim, especially after it had come to light that Jiri Prochazka had had a chance on UFC 317 in the light of his unavailability.
Reports from Pereira who fight due to an injury at UFC 313 can also explain a longer than usual rest from the 'Patan' activity, who reportedly fought a number of physical problems during his 3-0 run in 2024.
