Chaos erupts in Paris as riot cops clash with PSG fans at Champions League victory parade in second night of violence

Paris is plagued by a second chaos day with armed riot police that fights with PSG fans during the Champions League Trophy Parade.

Specialized police officers can be seen waving with holes and riot shields while storming through the Champs-Elysées to fight back against violent criminals in the capital.

Jubbling celebrations in France continued today after PSG swept a poor Inter Milan side 5-0 aside in the European final of Saturday evening in Munich.

But the joyful scenes in Germany were quickly overshadowed by violence at home in France.

PSG fans were hit with tear gas at night when deadly collisions broke out – causing two dead and almost 200 people to be injured.

Almost 600 people were arrested in the ugly scenes with cars, bins and mattresses that were all on fire.

And 24 hours after France was in danger for the first time, further problems between police and fans broke out.

PSG players and employees were accompanied this afternoon by around 110,000 supporters while holding a victory parade on the Champs-Elysées.

It was said that many fans tried to pack the streets of the capital to watch the parties.

Within a short period, the limit of supporters was reached with thousands who were still looking for a place to see the team return.

This influx of fans ensured that chaos for riot agents who were seen who tried to spread them by hunting many through the streets.

Video of the intense moment that a row of agents started walking over the Alma bridge to a group of supporters is shared online.

Thick plumes of blue smoke from torches can be seen next to the Eiffel Tower in the clip.

An officer on the spot said, “They throw everything they can go to us.”

Flash ball guns were also used by gendarmes, in an attempt spreading gang members who wear weapons themselves, including long metal posts and bricks stolen from construction sites.

It followed two people who lost their lives during intense national violence after PSG who was crowned European football champions.

One of the worst incidents took place in Dax, in the southwest of France, where a 17-year-old was brought in the stomach.

A spokesperson for the local police said: “He was part of a crowd in honor of the PSG victory in designated fan zone and died of his wounds in the hospital.”

A man was also killed when his scooter collided on Saturday with a car in Paris, after the victim had seen the football victory.

A police officer was seriously injured by a fireworks in coutances, Normandy.

He was placed in an induced coma, with a very serious eye and head injury, and was still in intensive care on Sunday morning.

The police chief of Paris, Laurent Nuñez, has since come out and said that the debt must be placed on looters and vandals that used the party atmosphere in Paris to cause chaos.

He made it clear that “real” PSG fans should not be confused with violent villains.

A steel ring was made around the Champs-Elysées, with large department stores and benches that used steel shutters to keep looters away.

The official PSG club shops on the champions and on their land were also barricaded during the weekend.

Nevertheless, a Foot Locker Sports Store was broken into on Champs-Elysées and goods including several trainers were stolen.

Young people who wore masks and hoodies were now roaming the city in search of problems.
