Manchester United
Bruno Fernandes continues to be associated with a lucrative move to Saudi Aarabia with Al -Hilal and is spotted with Portugal Pal Joao Cancelo -who is spotted a “secret agent” by fans as he looks to convince the Manchester United -star to him in the middle.
Al Hilal is willing to make Fernandes one of the best -paid players in the world and will find out £ 100 million to sign the playmaker. Fernandes' agent Miguel Pinho has been in Riyad for conversations with Senior Al Hilal -individuals and those in Saudi see it as a positive sign that discussions have been held.
United wants to keep Fernandes, but Hilal believes that every player has a prize. The Portuguese star will be 31 in September 31, but has a contract until 2027.
It has been reported that the Saudi offer will only take as long and Al-Hilal wants an answer within a few days. Their lucrative bid will be withdrawn if they do not hear soon, so that Fernandes and United are put on a timer.
The United Skipper has met Al-Hilal's Full-Back Cancelo, formerly from Manchester City, and national teammate with Fernandes. Once of them in a group meal in a restaurant has speculated that a deal could be sorted within a few days with Cancelo who played his role.
The ex-cityman was 31 last Tuesday and a birthday cake with candles was presented to him in the restaurant while he celebrated during the weekend. Fernandes was the journey back from United's tour after the season through Asia.
It would be a huge loss for Ruben Amorim, who saw his party on different occasions by Fernandes. But he believes that the former sporting Lisbon man wants to stay in England. He said: “Of course I am the manager, the coach, but sometimes it's the player's decision, but of course I talk to him, I explain things and I just have that feeling. If you talk to someone, you have that feeling if he wants to stay.
“Of course he was so frustrated in many games this season, but he knows what we are doing. The feeling that every time I speak to him is that he certainly wants to continue at Man Utd. But you never know.”
Al Hilal has also had conversations about signing Cristiano Ronaldo, who will become a free agent next month if he does not sign a new contract with Al Nassr. He recently claimed that his “chapter was over” on social media.
The Saudi club expects to have at least one big signature and a new head coach – possibly Inter Milan's Simone Inzaghi – when they play in the club World Cup this month.
