Merab Dvalishvili outstruck heavy-hitting bantamweight boogeyman during dominant win on historic UFC undercard

During the dominant run of Merab Dvalishvili in the UFC Bantamweight Division, he scored victories on some of the biggest names on 135 pounds, including a certain heavy boogeyman.

On Saturday at UFC 316, Merab Dvalishvili wants to make the second defense of his Bantamweight title when he takes on Sean O'Malley in a huge rematch.

Prior to their Rematch in Newark, New Jersey, DvalishHvili claimed that he will eliminate 'Suga' Sean, even though he is generally known for his dominant and ruthless struggle.

'The Machine' is generally considered the largest Bantamweight of all time, catching Aljamain Sterling and Dominick Cruz, and one of the reasons is because of his legendary 12-Vecht Win-Streak, which is the longest in the history of the division.

During his extremely impressive 12-fight win racing, the Georgian has picked up victories over some of the Bantamweight-Groten, including a victory over Bantamweight Boogeyman, John Dodson.

John Dodson was cut from the UFC after loss to Merab Dvalishvili

Dodson is generally considered one of the most difficult hitter of the lower weight classes in the history of UFC and former champion Demetrious Johnson revealed that Dodson was the most difficult hitter he ever had.

During the COVID-19 Pandemie in 2020, the promotion announced that the historic heavyweight title trilogy fight between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic would take place on the UFC APEX on UFC 252.

In the Co-Main event, O'Malley received his very first UFC loss when he had drilled his head in the Canvas by 'Chito' Vera, after having contracted a bizarre leg injury.

On the Undercard, however, 'the machine' Dvalishvili looked to score his fifth UFC victory and record Dodson.

Early in the fight, Dvalishvili seemed to be strike with Dodson, despite the fact that he apparently was at the disadvantage in terms of speed and strength.

After he had kept away from one of Dodson's dangerous attacks, 'The Machine' tried a Takedown with just over a minute from the Round, pressed Dodson against the cage and took the first round.

Not long in round two, Dvalishvili showed his pure dominance when he grabbed 'the magician' near the cage and carried him in the middle of the octhoek where he knocked him down. Again, most of the round played on the feet with 'the machine' more than holding it.

In round three, Merab again dominated the majority of the stock markets, with the heavier shots and Dodson buzzing at several times.

After his loss against Dvalishhvili, Dodson was released by the promotion.

Dvalishvili called Sean O'Malley Na UFC 252 victory

With Dvalishvili and O'Malley competing on the UFC 252 card, 'The Machine' called for a fight against 'Suga' after his victory over Dodson, four years before they finally collided with UFC 306.

“Good luck, Sean O'Malley, I wish him the best and I hope he wins and we will see it,” Merab told Joe Rogan after the fight.
