‘To do what?’ – Palmer left confused as he’s asked to name his PL Mount Rushmore

Cole Palmer was left stunned when he was asked to call his Premier League Mount Rushmore.

The iconic American monument, which has the faces of former presidents carved in it, is often raised by sport fans when he debates about the greatest to ever do it.

But the sculpture in the hills of South Dakota is clearly something that Chelsea and England Ace Palmer are not familiar with because he shook his head when he was asked if he knew what the tourist attraction is.

After he explained that he had to choose four figures to go on his Prem Mount Rushmore, he asked surprised: “What to do?”

Palmer eventually got a grip on the task and then revealed his list, which two defenders would have admitted if it had not been for the interviewer.

He said to Sky Sports NZ: “Cristiano]Ronaldo, [Thierry] Henry, Kevin De Bruyne and [Eden] Danger.”

Images from Palmer that his Mount Rushmore chose, went viral and dozens of footie fans could not help it, but respond to the clip.

The iconic site of course has the heads of four presidents of the United States: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

One said, “[He’s] A savant. Great choices. “

Another said, “He is funny and also a player.”

And another said, “How someone, not least a current top player, could not choose Rooney in a top 4 PL players of all time, is beyond me.”

It was noted: “As if it wasn't bad enough, he chose Eden Hazard.”

Another Chimed in: “Why would he know about Mount Rushmore?”

Palmer will undoubtedly ever be chosen on Footie Fans' Prem Mount Rushmore.

And if the 23-year-old can replicate the form that he has shown in Chelsea over the past two seasons, he will go a long way to be considered a Premier League large.

Palmer took no less than 27 goals and 15 assists in his first season in Stamford Bridge after his £ 40 million move from Manchester City.

He was not that productive last season, scored only 15 goals and achieved 12 assists.

However, he finished the season at a peak when Chelsea Champions League football insured and won the Conference League, the final of which saw him two beautiful assists.
