Real closing in on signing of 16-year-old Ajax wonderkid ahead of Barcelona

Real Madrid has increasingly turned it into their modus operandi to move for the most talented teenagers in world football, as the most recently proven by their € 40-60 million movement for Endrick Felipe. The newest talent to attract their eye is Ajax -Teener Abdellah Ouazane.

The 16-year-old is currently an Ajax player, but is without a contract at the end of June and has a number of top teams on his path. He currently played for Ajax's Under-19-side and was recently appointed player of the tournament in the African Cup of Nations Under-17 for Morocco, after he decided to play for the Atlas Lions after he was for the Dutch Under-15 side of Dutch.

The interest of Real Madrid was first reported by Javier Rodriguez and has since been confirmed by Marca. Los Blancos held first conversations with Ouazane and his agent, and although a deal can still be found with his camp, they are optimistic about the signing. A creative player, Ouazane generally works behind a striker or in midfield.

If Real Madrid succeeds in making the signing, they will lead Rivals Barcelona. Catalan Daily Sport has also reported that the Blaugrana is following Ouazane and was interested in his signing this summer, as was the case for the 16-year-old Bodo/Glimt talent Mikkel Bro Hansen. With regard to Ouazane, however, they also noted that Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in him.

Their plan is that Ouazane either goes to their under-19 side or joined the Castilla team, new under the management of Alvaro Arbeloa. Ouazane would be behind Arda Guler for a few years, 20, who is a similar profile of the player, and will try to perform a place in the plans of Xabi Alonso.
