Jadon Sancho releases statement after Chelsea pay £5m to resolve Man Utd saga

Jadon Sancho has praised Chelsea because “feels at home”, despite the fact that the club pays £ 5 million to send him back to Manchester United after his mixed loan saying. The blues had the chance to permanently sign Sancho for £ 25 million this summer, but chose to pay a fine instead.

In a statement on social media, the winger said: “Thankful for the experience. Great love for everyone at Chelsea who felt at home – teammates, staff and fans. I wish the club the very best. Really grateful, thanks Blues.”

It means an uncertain future for the former winger in England, who left Old Trafford after a long -term falling with former boss Erik ten Hag and would not return from expectations.

Ruben Amorim currently has no plans to integrate Sancho in the Manchester United Squad, so a move to Saudi Arabia looks more likely because very few clubs in Europe can pay its wages of £ 300,000 a week.

Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Eittihad are currently the most important three teams interested this summer in signing Sancho.

It was expected that the move to West London, which was agreed at the end of the transfer window last summer, would herald a new start and heralded a career in the course of the United States, where Sancho rarely corresponded to the form he had shown for his former club Borussia Dortmund.

After a clear start in which he helped the winning goal for Christopher Nunku against Bournemouth at his Chelsea debut, his contributions were for the side of Enzo Maresca at his best fragmentary.

He only scored five goals in 41 performances during the season, although that number of memorable Premier League tusted against Tottenham and Ipswich included the third goal in Chelsea's 4-1 Conference League League Final Victory on Real Betis.

Maresca always supported him publicly and indicated that he wanted more goals from the former player of Manchester City Academy, although he also set similar requirements of his other wing players, Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto.

In the end, Sancho was made to settle for the rotated in and out of the team with Neto and Madueke, with youth product Tyrique George who also came in the side.

Chelsea is moving forward with alternatives to the attack in the absence of Sancho, with a deal for Ipswich Vooruit Liam Delap that is expected to be announced.

Other goals for Chelsea are Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams and Red Bull Leipzig's Xavi Simons while Baas Enzo Maresca is preparing for the Champions League.
