River Plate Talent Franco Mastantuono is starting to make a name for himself in Europe, and that is before the Club World Cup has started. The 17-year-old Sterret is in full electricity for River this season and could make the switch to Europe in 2026.
That movement seemed to be intended for the Spanish capital. Despite the interest of Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid moved early for Mastantuono and reportedly agreed on the conditions about a contract with the teenager, as sports director Santiago Solari led conversations. Their plan, according to Diario AS, was waiting for the winter transfer window, when Mastantuono has a year left for his deal, to negotiate a lower fee.
However, Paris Saint-Germain recently emerged as the main competitor. PSG is willing to pay the release clause of € 40-45 million that River demands this summer for Mastantuono, something that Los Blancos did not want to do so far.
After the news that Los Blancos had sent emissions to Buenos Aires, as a say that head Explorer June Calafat, who played a key role in the signing sessions of Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior and Endrick Felipe, belongs to the traveling party.
