Horrible injury has forced Paige Vanzant to write history on the international Vechtweek in just a few weeks.
Since leaving the UFC, Paige Vanzant has brought her talents to various combat sports, including BKFC, misfits and more recently, Power Slap.
The former UFC star apparently found a home in Power limp, who participated three times and won twice.

After the cancellation of the GFL events, it was announced that Vanzant would make history by becoming the first woman to compete for a Power Slap title, which Michelle Brown on June 27, International Fight Week, Rematchen.
Nevertheless, Vanzant revealed last Tuesday on Instagram that she was forced to be out of the fight of history because of a 'serious' neck injury.
“My upcoming Power Slap competition for the title has been postponed. Unfortunately I had to withdraw. I have a pretty serious neck injury,” Vanzant began to explain.
“If it wasn't such a big problem, I would certainly still compete, especially because I was just very enthusiastic. It is such a big problem and I was enthusiastic for Power limp to give me the chance to fight for a title.
“I have what a spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma is called. It really didn't come from training. It is one in a million, freak, crazy injury that happened in my neck,” she went on.
Vanzant claims that she could have paralyzed by serious injury
After discovering her injury during an MRI, Vanzant decided to seek help from a neurosurgeon. According to the former UFC star, the neurosurgeon was shocked that she had no neurological problems.
“In short, the neurosurgeon at this point is surprised that I have no neurological problems because it is extremely serious, often people get paralyzed, the function of their arms start to lose fairly quickly. I don't have what a good sign,” she explained.
From now on it is unclear when Vanzant's title fight will be booked again, but Dana White's power shortcut will probably wait for her return before they awarded their very first women's champion.
