Demetrious Johnson reveals technique Sean O’Malley hurt him with that he should use to beat Merab Dvalishvili

UFC legend Demetrious Johnson gave insight into his recent training session with Sean O'Malley for UFC 316.

Sean O'Malley is looking for revenge while he is preparing to record UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili in the UFC 316 Main Event this Saturday in Newark. In anticipation of the Rematch with DvalishVili, O'Malley has made many sacrifices in his camp and brought various top names to prepare him for possibly recovering the Bantam weight throne.

But this time DvalishVili is taking an even greater test for O'Malley, after Dvalishvili had rejected the previously unbeaten Umar Nurmagomedov on UFC 311. O'Malley underwent hip operation immediately after his first fight with Dvalishvili on UFC 306, and this will return after a nine-hiatus.

O'Malley brought in two UFC legends to help him train for the puzzle of Dvalishvili on UFC 316. One of them ran away with a deep insight into O'Malley's potential game plan for the Dvalishhvili Rematch.

Demetrious Johnson encourages Sean O'Malley to emphasize one technique for UFC 316

Demetrious Johnson and Israel Adesanya trained with O'Malley during individual sessions in Arizona. Johnson, who retired last year, remains active in the gym despite his fighting career.

While O'Malley and Johnson spar during their training, a specific technique stood out the most for the former UFC fly weight champion.

During a recent episode of The MightyCast Podcast, Johnson shared what O'Malley hurt him in training he could emphasize in his game plan for UFC 316.

“I was with him and was like” you look strong, you look like you are turning on some muscle, it looks like you're struggling this camp, “said Johnson about O'Malley.

“We did 3 rounds, that f— teep [kick] Is dangerous. He hit me with it and I was 'Oh, that is your movement there', that f – Teep. The same movement that hurt Merab in the last fight. And I think I look at this fight with him versus Merab, “Johnson continued.” It's going down, can Sean break the machine? Or is the machine over Sean? That's where I think that fight will come true …

“When I felt his Teep, that is his 'bread and butter' to force me to meet the void and do something. If he comes to get me, he will give me up and force me to struggle, or suppress me.”

While O'Malley was dominated on the scoring cards of the jury members in his first fight with Dvalishvili, he brought his rival into deep problems with a nasty kick against the body in the last minutes. But Dvalishvili was able to survive O'Malley's late barrage and coast for a unanimous decision.

O'Malley has included a grab-heavy approach in his camp for UFC 316, which he intends to use in his Rematch with Dvalishvili. But don't be surprised if stairs are an important central point of an O'Malley over control.

Sean O'Malley used Conor McGregor as inspiration for UFC 316 Rematch

In anticipation of UFC 316 Putte O'Malley inspiration from the notorious rematch of Conor McGregor with Nate Diaz on UFC 202. After O'Malley McGregor Fight images had seen, McGregor went to social media to praise the former UFC title holder.

O'Malley and McGregor have had an up and down relationship during their career. The two came in a spit on social media that came up in a full fight challenge that never flourished.

But the two UFC stars have since then crushed their former beef. McGregor could possibly return to the Octagon later this year after a four -year absence.
