Sekou Kone is one of the most appreciated prospects at Manchester United after his participation in £ 1 million last summer and now the club is ready to give him some valuable minutes to increase his development
Manchester United was able to lend the younger Sekou Kone this summer, claims claims, just a year after the talented young person arrived in Old Trafford. KONE was signed by Malian Club Guidars FC for about £ 1 million by Erik ten Hag and there is high expectations of the midfielder.
The 19-year-old has to appear for the United Senior side, but was admitted to Ruben Amorim's team for their tour after the season through Asia, who comes in both games against Asean All Stars and Hong Kong.
KONE was introduced for Casemiro in the 32nd minute in the 1-0 loss for Asean All Stars before he became addicted to Toby Collyer again during the break. Amorim used a similar tactic against Hong Kong to falter his playing time, so that he spent it in the 27th minute before he suppressed him again, where Manuel Ugarte replaced him.
Kone is also a handful of occasions on the couch mentioned by Amorim in the Premier League against Tottenham in February and against Everton and Forest.
Now United is enthusiastic for him to pick up more minutes to get him at the highest level at speed and they are ready to punish a loan movement for the exciting prospect, according to Manchester Evening News.
The report claims that the KONE club has placed on their list of players available for loan prior to the 2025-26 season, after initially taking its first steps at United in the under-21 side.
He played nine times in the Premier League 2 for the United youth team and scored once. His under-21 coach Travis Binnion recently commented on his progress and admitted that he was struggling for fitness in the beginning, but is now at the level where he can play a series of matches every week.
Binnion admitted that Kone still had “a long way” before he was ready for the first team action under Amorim, but remained cheerful about his future prospects.
“We still have a long way to go,” he told men in April. “He broke in Huddersfield, while he can now endure three games in a week. At the next level, the first team, he would not be able to do that because he is not quite there yet, but his decision -making will make it physically easier for him.
“If he is not in the right position or he makes the wrong decision, the game will open and it is more difficult to be consistent in the right positions. It is a long -term project with him, but his assets can be seen for everyone.
“I think the position he plays on the field requires a lot of discipline, and we work on that discipline and decision -making. He is a really good player, but you can see that he has had three, four or five shots tonight and it is as if there are not too many no. 6s that come in the areas he is.
“You do not want to fully suppress that, but if he is not in the right part of the field, then it is more difficult for the team to function and it is harder for him to develop, so he works very hard through training and language support.”
