Patchy Mix will make his long-awaited Octagon debut on UFC 316.
The leading promotion of MMA is back in Newark, New Jersey to organize the UFC 316 pay-per-view from the prudential center.
The main event will be a rematch between Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malley for the Bantamweight title of the former.
But although all eyes will be focused on that and the bantam weight of the woman between Julianna Pena and Kayla Harrison, these are not the only intriguing storylines with 135 pounds.
Also set for the main map is the UFC debut of Mix, a former Bellator champion who became a member of the UFC after a dispute with the PFL that eventually led to its release.
The 31-year-old is highly regarded by many in the game and is tipped on a large scale for a quick turnout to the top. To ensure that a former champion thinks he could best be served to avoid one name in the division.

Henry Cejudo only sees Umar Nurmagomedov that gives fragmentary mixing problems in the UFC
Former UFC champions Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo have viewed the UFC 316 card during a recent episode of their podcast from Pound 4 Pound.
Saturday's event is of great importance for Cejudo, given the most important fights that take place in the division in which he competes and used to reign.
On the subject of mix, 'Triple C' became the newest who predicted a UFC title in his future. In fact, the former champion even sees the ruling Bantamweight King or his next challenger who stops the newcomer.
But when it comes to a different name in the top five, Cejudo is not that certain.
“Patchy Mix, [he] Has the best fought in Bellator, Bro, “said Cejudo.” He has defeated people who really surprised me. I didn't think he would beat Kyoji Horiguchi. He didn't hit him alone, but he actually dominated him.
“I mean, Bro, this guy, he is a problem. I really believe that he is a few fights away from fighting for the championship, and I feel that fragmentary mix is a future champion.
“I think the only one I can see to give a problem with a problem, Umar Nurmagomedov is,” Cejudo added.
Patchy Mix has a preference for the UFC 316 Main Event
If he fulfills his promise to quickly rise to the top of the UFC Bantamweight Division, Mix has a somewhat surprising preference for whom he would like to challenge for the title.
During a press conference Backstage at UFC Vegas 106 after confirming his signing, Mix revealed that he root for Dvalishvili over O'Malley.
Despite his strong relationship and training history with 'The Machine', the UFC newcomer hopes to challenge the Georgian hunter along the line so that they can earn some money together “.
“Me and Merab have trained together for years and I respect him,” said Mix.
“I really hope that Merab wins against O'Malley. I want the line for us to earn some money together, you know, and just do it out for that title as I get closer.”
Before you look ahead to add UFC Gold to his trophy cabinet, Mix must only pass the obstacle of Mario Bautista on 7 June.
