Bryce Mitchell doesn't seem fully focused on his comeback.
'Thug Nasty' hasn't fought since suffering one of the most vicious knockout losses in UFC history when he faced Josh Emmett at UFC 296 in December 2023.
Just days before his return against Kron Gracie at UFC 310 on Saturday night, Bryce Mitchell launched a wild tirade against tech billionaire Elon Musk.
The 30-year-old focused on a very different, but equally bizarre topic as he addressed the assembled press at Wednesday's UFC 310 media day.

Bryce Mitchell explains his problem with seat belts
Mitchell has become infamous for his crazy view of the world.
The featherweight prospect uses his time in front of the UFC cameras to talk about a wide range of topics, many of which have nothing to do with the fight ahead.
The lead up to UFC 310 is no different as the part-time rapper has gone viral on social media for ranting about his distaste for seat belts to promote his latest fight.
“Seat belts, I think it's kind of like you can choose whether or not you want to wear a seat belt,” Mitchell said.
“The government doesn't wipe my ass for me, and they shouldn't be able to tell me if I want to wear a seat belt.
“Personally, I don't like them because I think, 'What if you have to jump out of the car and duck and roll?' Nobody ever thinks about that.
“Personally, I don't wear a seat belt. Growing up, my mother never wore one. I just don't believe in it and it's not up to the government whether I wear a seat belt or not. That's just my opinion on them and that's why I don't wear them.
“I'm tying my baby up. You know, I tie Tucker up, but I just don't like wearing them. I like the agility.”
Kron Gracie responds to UFC 310's top card critics
Mitchell's antics away from the Octagon appear to be working, as he's landed a spot on the UFC 310 main card ahead of the higher-ranked contenders, former champions and MMA legends fighting on the card.
Kron Gracie will be hoping to break his two-fight losing streak when he returns to the cage for the first time in 19 months this weekend.
In the meantime, he has sent a message to those complaining about his inclusion on the map.
“I think it's funny because people always have something to say,” Gracie told MMA Fighting.
“And it's interesting that people who complain about something like that are probably the people who don't even pay for the pay-per-view, but stream it for free. You steal the pay-per-view and they're the ones complaining about where the fight is taking place.
“If there is anything, [Sterling vs. Evloev is] a free fight for the fans that they get to see sooner. Of course, I don't understand why it's such a big deal, because I don't really worry about those kinds of situations.
“But I think the placement of the fight is not the most important thing, and I don't care where I am on the card. The sooner, the better actually. Then I can move on with my life.”
