UFC Bantamweight Champion Ladies Julianna Peña shared a leading scent of the UFC 315 defeat of Belal Muhammad.
The UFC Welterweight title of Belal Muhammad came to an abrupt end last month, by Jack della Maddalena, last month at UFC 315 in Montreal. In a candidate 'fight of the year', Maddalena and Muhammad went away with the full distance, with Maddalena with a unanimous decision victory.
Maddalena is now ready for a likely confrontation with UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev for his next fight. Makhachev will leave the lightweight belt later this month and open the door to a matchup with the newly crowned champion Welterweight.
Muhammad took the stunning UFC 315 loss in Stride, despite the fact that he heard many of his opponents after the fight. But despite the approach of Muhammad, his teammate believes that the jury members were wrong at UFC 315.

Julianna Peña believes that Belal Muhammad 'was deprived' of a victory over UFC 315
Muhammad and UFC Bantamweight Champion Julianna Peña have long been training partners in Chicago. Peña was an important presence in the Muhammad Vechtkamp for UFC 315, and believes that Mohammed has done enough to get the nod on the score cards and to retain the UFC -Weltergeverlordel, in contrast to the popular opinion.
During her UFC 316 Media Day -press conference, Peña explained how she felt that Mohammed was injured by the judges at UFC 315.
“I didn't think that was lost. I looked at that fight and was like” yes, we have it! He won! “, And when they called it for the other man, a feather for him, but I thought Belal won,” said Peña.
“I didn't really give him a pep talk, except the fact that I said,” Sorry my brother, you are robbed. “
Muhammad did not explicitly say that he felt that he earned the victory over UFC 315 after his performance, but is looking forward to a return to the Octagon later this year. As far as Peña is concerned, this Saturday it will be in the UFC 316 CO-Main event at the UFC 316-CO-Main event in Newark.
Peña was not the only prominent name that felt that Mohammed deserved to keep his belt. Jeremy Stephens, who returned to the Octagon in UFC des Moines last month, scored the fight in favor of Muhammad despite the rooting of Maddalena to win.
Belal Muhammad came in a few days before the map with a UFC 316 star
In anticipation of the return of his teammate to UFC 316, Muhammad came this week with another top name on the map after a brutal waste from the Mediadag. UFC Welterweight Kevin Holland admitted that he was happy that Mohammed would lose at UFC 315, which encouraged a heated back and forth between them on social media.
Holland will be confronted against Vicente Luque this Saturday on UFC 316 in his return to the Octagon. He defeated Gunnar Nelson earlier this year at UFC London.
Although it is uncertain whether Muhammad will be in the Bantamweight Champion corner of the ladies this weekend, the former Welterweight title holder will continue to get the headlines.
