He and his wife, Dananya O'Malley, welcomed their first son with 'Suga' and stated that this only had a positive effect on the last phases of his preparations.
“It's nice because Danny is such a beast. I just slept upstairs because the baby wakes up. The baby only wakes up every three hours to feed … but yes, I have slept upstairs, so I haven't had to deal with that yet, but it has been good, it was really good.
“It is so peaceful, just like every time I am here and I go home, I get so excited about that ride home that I can hold him. He just sleeps all day, so I almost get home, he is almost sleeping … it's just the most peaceful thing ever.”
O'Malley also spoke about this big change in his life in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated that took place before making the news audience.
The former Bantam weight champion gave the following answer when he was asked where his head was with 7 June who was approaching quickly.
“I have a five -day, so you know, changing diapers, so that it now occupies quite a bit of headroom.
'The work [for the fight] Is this just about done. Just a little past these coming days. This is where you really start, you know, cutting the calories and really start to get the weight. So just being a father who is still hanging around, you know, training twice a day. But nowadays are good, good, good times. '

Conor McGregor compared the preparations for Sean O'Malley with his training camp for iconic Rematch
Although he knew it until it happened, it seems that Sean O'Malley has again fueled his relationship with Conor McGregor.
'The Notorious' posted various positive messages about the main event of UFC 316 and the preparations for the former champion for X, because they were critical of 'Suga' in the past.
After the training camp images showed that O'Malley wanted to create a real fighting atmosphere in the gym by replicating the fight of fighting evening, McGregor weighed with his thoughts.
'The Notorious' drew parallels with his own preparations for his rematch with Nate Diaz, where he implemented a similar approach.
McGregor would avenge his entry loss to Diaz on UFC 202 and defeated him in a direct iconic collision through majority decision.
