Assignon, a starter on right-back last season, is already in Germany to complete his medical and put pen on paper about a deal to become a member of Stuttgart. The deal is expected to be closed in particular. In the meantime, Rennes is working on signing his successor. The club has set their sights on Mainz's caci, whose contract on the Bundesliga side will be at the end of next season.
Although his current club did not give up the hope of expanding his deal, there are plenty of lovers for the defender of € 10 million. In addition to Rennes, Leeds United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in the Frenchman. The Kiliann Sildillia from Freiburg is seen by the Breton Club as a Plan B.
