Luis Diaz: Liverpool forward reveals talks with other clubs as Barcelona approach rejected

Luis Diaz has revealed that his representatives are in conversation with other clubs while waiting for Liverpool to make a decision about his future.

Barcelona has been given an approach for the 28-year-old, who is also interesting for the Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.

Diaz, who has been talking about his deal for two years, says he is happy to see the rest of his contract in Liverpool.

Speaking while he was gone with Colombia in international duty, Diaz said: “I am very, very happy in Liverpool. From the first day they really made me welcome.

'At the moment we have contact with them because we are talking [other] Clubs. It is normal, the market is open and we try to find out what is best for us.

“I just wait to see what is happening. If Liverpool does not make a good offer, I will have two years left with them, I would be happy and be satisfied to stay there.

“And that's it, everything clearly depends on it, it's up to me to decide what's best for us and the future.”

Diaz was an important part of Liverpool's Premier League title win last season, because he scored 13 goals and offered five assists.

The attacker joined Anfield of Porto in January 2022 in a deal with a value of a maximum of £ 49 million.

He scored 41 goals in 148 performances in all competitions for Liverpool and won the Premier League, the FA Cup and two competition cups.
