Man City given permission to complete £115m triple swoop as medicals booked

Pep Guardiola is going to work in this summer's transfer window while Manchester City seems to bounce back from a trophy campaign

Manchester City has received permission to place £ 46.3 million midfielder Tijjani Reijners on Sunday through his medical – although the Dutchman will still be official at Ronald Koeman's Dutch team.

Koeman, a good friend of the city boss Pep Guardiola, has been given permission for Reijnders to be put on Sunday by his passes, less than 24 hours after Holland has confronted Finland in Helsinki.

It is not yet clear whether the 26-year-old will fly to Manchester in a private jet or whether City will send a team from Medici to the KNVB training camp outside the city of Zeist.

Holland will be confronted on Tuesday evening with a different qualification against Malta in Groningen, when Reijnders is expected to appear. City has closed a deal with both Milan and the player after he scored 15 goals for the Italian club.

The blues want the transfer to be closed as quickly as possible, so that Guardiola Reijnders can mention in his team for the Club World Cup in the United States.

City wants at least three new players available for the tournament. They are agreed conditions for Lyon's attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki and Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Both will arrive at the Etihad in deals with a value of approximately £ 35 million and are expected to undergo medical in the coming days, despite the fact that they have international duty with France and Algeria respectively.

France meets Spain on Thursday in the Nations League and hopes in a place in the final of Sunday against Portugal.

Ait-Nouri does not play for Algeria against Rwanda tonight, but will be available on Tuesday for the game in Sweden after completing his physical checks at City.
