Liverpool closes a deal to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who is not in the Hungary team to be in Sweden on Friday
Hungary National team boss Marco Rossi has revealed that Milos Kerkez will miss the international friendly friend against Sweden on Friday as his transfer to Liverpool Randen closer. The left back of Bournemouth was expected to perform against the Sweden in Budapest, but he did not train with his teammates on Thursday, even though he was in the camp with the national team.
In a press conference on Thursday, Rossi expressed a cryptic message when he explained that both Kerkez and Striker Barnabas Varga would not be available.
Rossi said: “Of course a few problems can penetrate for various reasons, nor Milos Kerkez nor Barnabas Varga will be in the game of tomorrow.”
Kerkez seems to have plagued that the transfer itself is almost complete by adding an Instagram post with Eye Emojis. He has given all his approval to Liverpool, who have worked on completing a deal with Bournemouth.
The conversations are somewhat complicated by the fact that the technical director Simon Francis van Cherries has been in the United States this week that Bournemouth represents in the football tournament in North Carolina.
Francis leads negotiations with former Bournemouth chef Richard Hughes, who now works as a Sporting Director of Liverpool. Kerkez quickly emerged as the primary left -wing target of Liverpool while they want to sign the competition for Andy Robertson.
Greece International Kostas Tsimikas is expected to leave Anfield this summer and will be interested in both the Premier League and Europe. If Kerkez, 21, draws on the dotted line on Anfield, he will collaborate with international teammate Dominik Szoboszlai on Merseyside.
In the meantime, the Reds also keep talking to Bayer Leverkusen about a club record deal for Florian Wirtz. So far they have seen two offers by the German club, but the negotiations are advanced and are expected to come a positive conclusion soon.
Kop Boss Slot is supposed to have met the Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki last week, but the Frenchman is now looking ready to become a member of Manchester City. Liverpool would probably only follow a deal if an agreement for Wirtz could not materialize because she wants to strengthen their forward options.
The Premier League champions have already sold goalkeeper Cooimhin Kelleher to Brentford in a £ 18 million deal, because the Republic of Ireland International wanted to pursue football regularly.
An approach from Barcelona for Luis Diaz has also been rejected and Diaz has since admitted that he would be open this summer to stay in Anfield, although a new contract does not seem to be on the cards at the moment.
