There have been separate discussions between West Ham and Chelsea in recent days about the international attacker of Ghana, Mohammed Kudus
West Ham has rejected the chance to sign several Chelsea players as part of a potential Swap deal for Mohammed Kudus. The 24-year-old Hammers striker has written three separate release clauses in his current contract in the London Stadium, but they are only active for the first 10 days of July.
The buy-out clauses have been set at £ 80 million for European clubs, £ 85 million for fellow prime minister League parties and no less than £ 120 million for Saudi Pro League teams. It is also thought that West Ham is open to offers for the Ghana International, which is under contract until 2028, but the irons also have an expansion option of 12 months.
In recent days, Graham Potter's side is supposed to have the chance to exchange kudus in a multi-player package agreement with Chelsea.
However, it is believed that the West Ham-Hierarchy would consider direct proposals, although internally, Kudus is considered one of the best players in the club.
West Ham was previously interested in people as defender Trevoh Chalobah, Borussia Dortmund-lending Carney Chukwuemeka, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Armando Broja, but on this occasion they were reluctant to negotiate.
Discussions did not go far, although individual sources have claimed that Kudus has also been driven to other Premier League clubs in recent weeks. Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr has the player on their radar, although Luis Diaz from Liverpool is still considered their top goal.
West Ham is not immediately under pressure to sell with regard to PSR rules from Premier League, but they would like to collect funds by player sales to strengthen Potter's summer transfer.
Kudus, a £ 38 million capture from Ajax in 2023, only made five goals in 35 performances in all competitions last season. Chelsea has historical importance and made contact with the Dutch giants to sign the versatile attacker in July 2023 before he eventually moved to East London.
But at this stage it is thought that the blues give priority to the arrival of a left-left-left-bing after paying a fine of £ 5 million to send Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United.
Dortmund-Vleugel player Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is a name of strong interest and Chelsea is ready to test the water with an opening bid, although they do not feel that an agreement is essential before the club World Cup.
