According to the well -known journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ange Postecoglou has been rejected by Tottenham Hotspur and an official announcement will soon be expected.
The 59-year-old Postecoglou became the head coach of Spurs in the summer of 2023.
In the 2023–24 season, under the supervision of the Australian coach, Tottenham finished 5th in the Premier League.
In the 2024–25 season, however, the team registered 11 victories, 5 draws and 22 losses, and ended 17th with 38 points-Hun worst Premier League finish.
Nevertheless, Postecoglou Tottenham led to a final victory of the UEFA Europa League at Manchester United, ending the 17-year-old trophy-dried of the club.
Several journalists, including the Telegraph Matt Law, have reported that Postecoglou has been fired and that the news is expected to be confirmed soon.
