Liverpool has already been busy in the summer transfer market with the signing of Jeremie Frimpong and is now closing a movement for his Bayer Leverkusen -Teammate Florian Wirtz
Liverpool has come a step closer to closing a sensational deal for Florian Wirtz, where Bayer Leverkusen has now given their permission for the attacking midfielder to complete a dream movement to Anfield.
The reigning Premier League champions have been an interest in the German since the end of the season. It was thought that they could experience the competition from Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but they both stopped from the race for the Wirtz signature.
Liverpool has since been locked up in negotiations with Leverkusen in an attempt to secure an agreement – and it now seems that they have managed exactly that.
According to reports in Belgium, the Bundesliga side Wirtz has given the green light to complete its move to Anfield. The clubs have agreed a fee of a total of £ 126 million for the services of Wirtz with personal conditions that have already been agreed. Former Leverkusen -sports director Rudi Voller had recently given an update on conversations and suggested that he felt positive that a movement would eventually be completed.
“It is no secret that he would like to go to Liverpool,” Voller told Dazn. “I know the clubs are negotiating with each other. “A great talent that has done fantastic for Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen. He has a huge future for him, so if Liverpool is the place for him, let's hope we can let it happen.”

If a deal is completed, Wirtz would be the second star that Bayer Leverkusen for Liverpool would exchange. The side of Arne Slot also completed a movement for fullback Jeremie Frimpong, which was signed for around £ 35 million.
