Liverpool is prominently present at the transfer market this summer after performing minimum things 12 months ago and the Reds want Florian Wirtz Landen in the coming weeks
Liverpool wasted little time on the transfer market this summer. The Reds have already brought Jeremie Frimpong to the club of Bayer Leverkusen, but have more about the agenda for Arne Slot.
Florian Wirtz is at the top of the list while the Anfield side tries to reach another agreement with Leverkusen. A British record agreement awaits if Liverpool can iron any discrepancies with a deal that is expected to continue.
The club also wants to make Milos Kerkez Landen as lock at Full-back. After performing minimal things for his first season, the Dutch boss will leave his print on the team.
There are certainly players who also follow Alexander-Arnold Trent from the club. Luis Diaz, Harvey Elliot and Darwin Nunez, among other things, are all confronted with uncertain future.
Mirror Football takes a look at the latest Liverpool Transfer News and Rumors below.
Robertson expresses
Andy Robertson is not worried about the prospect of competition from Milos Kerkez at the left-back next season. The Bournemouth star seems to be coming in Anfield this summer, while Robertson has only been talking about his contract for a year.
The International of Scotland has faith in himself to keep challenging for a place and believes that he still has a lot to give. “We are not crazy, it seems that a deal may be closed,” Robertson told BBC Scotland.
“But until that is done, I didn't even give that a second thought. I am back myself, I have faith in my own capacity and that drives me ahead.
“I have had eight fantastic years in Liverpool in terms of winning trophies, a pillar in the team, which I am incredibly proud of. I am not getting younger, I cannot change my age, but I still believe I have a lot to give and that is where I focus.
“I concentrate on myself – you can't concentrate on other people or with whom you are competing. I still believe that I have a lot to give for many years that I can continue. My body feels good right now.
“I can't tell you how I will feel at 33 or 34, but I can tell you, at the age of 31, I feel excellent. I have been fit for every game, I have not missed a training session and that is not a sign of someone who slows down.
“I have a year left in Liverpool, I look forward to a switch, I look forward to a vacation and then I look forward to the preseason. What the future applies afterwards? I didn't think about it too much.”
Wirtz -Drama
Florian Wirtz is in the middle of a 'million dollar dispute' when he completes his transfer to Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen. According to a report from Bild, the German side will get a lot of attention from Koln because they try to ensure that they receive all the money they are entitled to.
“Of course we are investigating it,” Wolf said on Radio Cologne. “We know what we are entitled to and will fight for it. We look at this with both eyes. We will benefit from it. The higher the sum that Liverpool is willing to pay, the better for us.”
According to the rules of FIFA, every club that played a role in the development of a player between the ages of 12 and 23 receives five percent of any transfer costs for compensation. Wirtz trained with Koln for nine and a half year from the age of seven.
Koln would intend to claim that Wirtz's 'training' period was closed before he became 23 as a result of the fact that he earned his liverusen at the age of 17 and became a German international when he was 18. This is hoping to prove that they are entitled to the maximum amount of compensation of each transfer.
The side may ow around £ 6.3 million if Liverpool ultimately pays the asking price of £ 126 million from Leverkusen. Koln will deal with the FIFA Clearing House to guarantee the highest possible payment.
Liverpool confirms outputs
