With the heavyweight division of the UFC that is currently stuck, Francis Ngannou has re -introduced the frame.
The former champion separated roads with the promotion in January 2023, but his coach recently suggested that Ngannou could return.
This quickly caught the attention of Jon Jones, who showed a lot of interest in fighting NGannou, referring to the matchup as a 'where super fight'.
Jones received some criticism from the fans for this take, where some suggest that he pushes this idea to prevent him from fighting Tom Aspinall.
After his comments have added a new story to the current situation at the top of the heavyweight division, the Ngannou coach took care of exactly what he meant.

Eric Nicksick clarifies his comments about Francis Ngannou who may return to the UFC after the comments of Jon Jones
In an interview with Home of Fight, Eric Nicksick stated that in his opinion enough time has passed since Francis Ngannou left the UFC on bad conditions that the two parties could come together again.
The head coach of Xtreme Couture said he believes that Ngannou would be open to this idea, because for him it was always about things instead of ego.
Nicksick also ensured that Tom Aspinall, with whom he also has a good relationship, deserves the opportunity to become UFC champion, and claims that recording the former title holder does not yield the current holdup.
“I am not saying that Francis is the answer, but it at least adds a little more value to your heavyweight division when you go outside and a man like him gets and brings him back.”
In a recent message on social media, Nicksick emphasized exactly what he meant by his comments, so that nothing was taken out of the context.
He referred to all three most important names in the heavyweight division, making him clear that he said nothing negative about Jones or Aspinall.
Nicksick simply believes that bringing back Ngannou in the fold would make the division even more exciting, which is difficult to argue with.
I hope that people actually listen to the convo with @Dantommma instead of just reading the clickbait. I said Tom Aspinall earns his shot, Jon Jones is the goat, and as a fan Francis makes the division even more exciting in the mix. Nothing but respect for everyone. 🫡💯

Eric Nicksick makes comparisons between Jones vs Tom Aspinall and the Francis Ngannou fight that did not happen
While Eric Nicksick made it clear that he has a lot of respect for Jon Jones, he emphasized a comparison between the deferred sagas of the heavyweight champion with both Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou.
Jones vs Ngannou remains one of the largest UFC fights that have gone away from the fans, despite the fact that both men were drawn during the promotion at the same time.
Nicksick said there are certainly a few parallels between the way the Jones and Aspinall situation took place and the way in which the negotiations of Jones and Ngannou went, which he thinks only supported the comments they have made at that time about the potential super fight at that time.
“We were ready to fight against everyone who came to the table, but the negotiations had not been on our side. So I think the truth now comes to light and we don't have to say much about it. You see what's going on now.”
