Dembele is already excluded from the UEFA Nations League 3rd/4th place on Sunday between France and Germany, and according to the report there is a good chance that he is not available for PSG's three group phases in the club World Cup. If this is the case, it would be good news for Atletico Madrid, who are one of the opponents of the European champions in the United States.
In the event that PSG does not win the Club World Cup, Dembele's opportunities on the Ballon d'On will probably decrease – especially if he is not involved because of an injury.
