The second signing for Reds, Slot looks to bolster Premier League winning squad

Liverpool has completed their second signing of the summer while looking to strengthen their team that the Premier League won.

The side of Arne Slot called to Premier League victory and has quickly added extra depth while they want to defend their title and challenge in Europe.

They have now signed the 20-year-old goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from the Hungarian side Puskas Akademia in a deal that could reach £ 1.5 million.

Pecsi was nominated for the 2025 Golden Boy Award and has represented Hungary at level below 21.

Last season he played 36 times in all competitions for his Puskas Akademia when they finished second behind Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros.

The goalkeeper also appeared in the Europa Conference League, before he was eliminated by semi-finalists Fiorentina.

He completed a medical in the AXA training center of Liverpool and will leave for Brentford in a £ 18 million deal at Slot's goalkeeper ranks only a few days after Caoimhin Kelleher left for Brentford.

Last week Liverpool Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen took their first transfer from the window.

The club activated his £ 29.5 million release clause and the right wing wrote a five-year contract on Anfield after completing its medical last month.

His challenge is to fill the boots of Trent Alexander-Arnold. But Frimpong's record speaks glowing about his potential. The 24-year-old has scored 28 goals in the last three seasons and helped another 35.

The Reds also hope to take out a deal for the German playmaker Florian Wirtz.

The 22-year-old, also from Leverkusen, is considered one of Europe's most popular talents.

Allegedly a deal between the two clubs is concluded, with the playmaker who wants to sign a five -year contract, where he is expected to earn up to £ 18.5 million a year.

In negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool remains about a price for Wirtz and although conversations are underway, according to Bild, an agreement is certainly considered.

Leverkusen wants £ 120 million and Liverpool have offered £ 109 million, but Wirtz has made it clear that he wants the move.

Wirtz seems to complete his medical next week and will go on vacation before connecting the team for the preseason in July.

The German star is convinced by the clear plan of Arne Slot from where he will play in the attitude of Liverpool as No. 10.

And on Wednesday Wirtz seemed to nod when he was asked by Mailsport if he was 'enthusiastic for Liverpool' after the nations of Germany by Portugal.

If Liverpool accepts Bayer's requirements, Wirtz would become the most expensive signing in British football, which paid the £ 115 million Chelsea Brighton for Moises Caicedo.

The side of Slot is also in conversation with Bournemouth for the highly valued £ 40 million left back Milos Kerkez.
