‘What a mess’ – England fans fume at Tuchel for bizarre experimental XI

Fans of England are less than impressed by the experimental startline-up of Thomas Tuchel for the Three Lions Clash with Andorra today.

England takes on the Minnows in a world cup qualification at 5 pm and Tuchel has decided to shake things up with an unusual XI.

The boss of England has Star Midfielder Declan Rice of the off the Star Rice in favor of Jordan Henderson.

Henderson, 34, makes his first start for the national team since November 2023.

It is thought that rice will be equipped to start against Senegal on Tuesday evening instead.

Other unusual choices seem to be Reece James that starts with left-back and Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones who is used as a make-shift right back.

Although some have speculated that Jones could play in midfield, where Tuchel chooses to play three back.

Big names such as Jordan Pickford, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Cole Palmer also start from the start.

While Ezri Konsa starts, then Burn, Morgan Rogers and Noni Madueke too.

A third rumbled: “That's terrible”.

And a fourth joke: “Can anyone tell me the formation we play? I am confused. Who plays in the defense?”

There is no place in the starting line-up for Ivan Toney, who has reminded Tuchel of the design of England, despite his controversial move to the Saudi-Arab side Al-Ahli.

While Bukayo Saka misses a place in the Day team completely after wrestling with an injury he sustained during the Arsenal.

Saka still has to appear under Tuchel after he had withdrawn from the first camp of the German first camp with injury.

Tuchel said about Saka on Friday: “He came in the camp with a little discomfort from the last game against Southampton, so we took care of him and treated him individually until today.

“It was the first training session he started and ended with the group. Yesterday he started the group, but did not end with the group, so let's look.

“I'm not sure if we take the risk for tomorrow's game.

“The decision was not made, but he will be available for the Senegal competition and he plays an important role in our thoughts how to build a competitive team.

“I think he only grew in his personality with every season that he played so consistently for his club, and the club grew with him and became competitive.”
