Danish coach Brian Riemer said he was unhappy with the opening of 30 minutes, when he was asked to think about the Danish performance after the 2-1 victory against Northern Ireland on Saturday evening.
Riemer said that the early goal of the visitors had an in -depth effect on the Danish performance in the first half.
“The goal made our game in panic. We used too many touches, we lost our positions. They stood with a relatively high rear, despite the fact that they were not pushing us. But we couldn't sit after it. It was a big problem. And then we hurried things because we had the feeling that we were behind … These are exactly the emotions we have to work,” said Brian Riemer sport.
Riemer would otherwise be satisfied with the second half.
“We have succeeded in creating the opportunities that we needed in the second half. But it is clear that we should try to get to one place – and we have to use the evaluation for that now – where we do not waste half an hour after the goal to find ourselves and an interval where I have to correct a number of things. The Danish National Team Coach.
Denmark will be back in action on Tuesday when they are confronted against Lithuania in Odense.
