De Fries, who has not lost MMA fight since 2017, continued his climb of the heavyweight mountain with a slick first round entry over Arkadiusz WrzoSek on KSW 107 on Saturday in Gdansk, Poland. Despite the calls to the UFC to chase the fries in a free desk, the 27-6 giant continues his dominant KSW title rule and is demonstrably the face of the promotion.
De Fries defended the KSW-heavyweight title for the 12th time and earned a first round finish for the third event in his last five title defense. He has defeated former UFC height points such as Augusto Sakai and Todd Duffee during his KSW Heavyweight Rouble.
Hours later, Aspinall's other sparring partner Verhoeven set up a grim version to beat the former rival of Alex Pereira, Artem Vakhitov, by a unanimous decision at the centenary of Glory. Verhoeven expanded his 4,000-plus day title in the Gloring.
On his Instagram story, Aspinall responded to the victory of the Frisian over KSW 107.
“Big [Phil] Does it again, “Aspinall posted.
Only a few minutes later, Aspinall Verhoeven congratulated and coronated his sparring partner as the kickboxing goat.
'And that also applies to [Rico]The best kickboxer ever, “said Aspinall.
Aspinall then thought about the fortune that he has to train with two of the most dangerous men in the world.
“So grateful to share the mats and regularly be friends with these samples,” Aspinall noted.
“Iron squeezes iron.”
As Aspinall gets closer to a UFC recovery, Fight fans got some answers to the status of Jon Jones as calls to the promotion to strip him from his title.
Jon Jones answered Dana White's statement that he 'accepted Tom Aspinall fighting'
In a recently exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Jones Donagh Corby told that he did not know that Dana White recently claimed that he had 'accepted' the Aspinall Bout agreement. Jones then claimed that he would fight against Aspinall if the British superstar attends a dirty boxing championship card.
Jones has not fought anymore since he defended his linear heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic on UFC 309 in November. After flip-flopping at retirement, a petition for the UFC to strip Jones has collected around 200,000 signatures online.
Despite the uncertainty of Jones's Fighting Future, Aspinall seems to be in a good mood after he has reportedly obtained a date and location for his UFC -Comeback fight. The UFC Heavyweight Division should be given some clarity in the coming weeks.
